Yes, it's great. It takes a bit of getting used to the small size but the eink is excellent to read off of and because the screen is more of a matte consistency it doesn't have anywhere near as much glare as a tablet. I used to read on my iPad too but it used to drain the battery, was a lot heavier and had glare issues. I'd definitely recommend buying a Kindle (or any ereader). It can be a bit scary how easy it is to buy things though!
